The great singer, who has taken the folk song far from the borders of our homeland, triumphing where the tango is not yet instilled in the soul of its peoples. His exquisite art created a school but without immitation. Clear diction, far reaching tonal voice and the purely Argetinean folklore sentiment are his most pronounced  characteristics.
