El dia 11 de diciembre de 1923, en el teatro "Apolo", se representa "El Tango en París", de Enrique García Velloso. La compañía es Matilde-Rivera Enrique De Rosas. Razzano es el primero de la derecha. Gardel, el tercero. On Dec. 11, 1923, the theater "Apolo" presents "The Tango in Paris". Produced by García Velloso, starring "Matilde-Rivera Enrique De Rosas" company from Buenos Aires. Razzano is the first on the right, Gardel is third. This is the only time ever that Razzano left the South American continent. In January 1924, Gardel and Razzano travel to Toulouse where they stay four days. In Toulouse, they meet up with Gardel's mother Berthe and visit Gardel's uncle and grand-mother. Later, they travel to Paris for some sight seeing and shopping. On Feb. 13, 1923, the duet arrives in Buenos Aires with the ship Giulio Cesare. |
